Practical Training After the end of the 2nd semester, students have to undertake a 13-week practical training. During this training the students get a deep insight into the organization of a Tourism or Hospitality related enterprise and can improve their practical knowledge. Students have the possibility to earn valuable experience for their future career. It gives deep insight into the real working life of tourism enterprises and new inspiration and ideas for the own future. We at ITM provide our students with all the necessary aid and coaching to ease their search for internships. In addition to our help, our students are also trained in methods of job applications and interviews which are quite useful when they enter their professional lives. Evgeniya Timoshenko (Russia) about her internship at the Le Meridien, Seychelles:: "I never dreamed about undertaking my internship somewhere in the middle of the Indian Ocean, but ITM helped me to receive this internship. I have the unique chance to work for 13 weeks in an amazing hotel - Le Meridien Fishermen's Cove - which is one of the higer rated hotels on the Seychelles. It is a resort hotel and hosts guests mostly with tourism and leisure purpose and a lot of honeymooners. The hotel makes sure to provide extreme care to all of them. On my first day of work, I was greeted by the Human Resource Manager and introduced to the Front Office Department - my current working station. The staff is incredibly friendly and I have enjoyed being around them from the first minute. I have learnt a lot during my time here. I hope it will not be my last visit to this wonderful place. I am very thankful to ITM for this opportunity and the ones to come. "
